Jessup Brothers are delighted to have been awarded their first scheme for Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust (BMHT). The project involves the construction of 13 new houses and 18 apartments on Meon Grove, Sheldon, Birmingham.
Jessup won the scheme through competitive tender as part of BMHT’s new framework agreement. The development will incorporate photovoltaic panels & increased building insulation to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
Commenting on the scheme; Peter Butler, General Manager for Jessup said ‘we are delighted to have been awarded this contract by BMHT, it will help support our policy of buying locally and continue to support our local training programme’.
This month also sees a start on site for Church Lane, Middleton, North Warwickshire: a scheme of ten houses and four bungalows for ESHA Developments. Jessup procured the land deal with the land owners & ESHA are providing four bungalows for the Samuel White Trust Charity in Middleton.
