A Successful Day - January 2010

Our Meet the Buyer Event held on 23rd December 09 at Walsall College was a great success. The idea was to meet contractors and suppliers who are based in our region to discuss the potential of involvement in our £55m canal-side Waterfront South development in Walsall.

All our buyers were kept busy with a continuous stream of contractors and suppliers attending the event, which will strengthen our established policy of using local suppliers and specialist sub contractors to help support the local economy.

We would like to thank Walsall College for the use of their splendid new Wisemore Campus Building for the event. Also thanks to Martin Stokes and his team at Think Walsall for their invaluable help in making the event such a great success. Also thanks for the continuing support of the Walsall Regeneration Company, Walsall Council and the Homes and Communities Agency.
