The Second Jessup Lecture - April 08

“It’s the People Stupid”

This is the title of the second Jessup Lecture with speaker George Ferguson, past President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, which will be held at The New Art Gallery Walsall on the evening of the 1st of May 08.

George Ferguson combines architectural practice with writing, broadcasting and entrepreneurial activity, in pursuit of his interests in sustainable mixed-use development and urban regeneration. His forthright views will provide a stimulating and informative evening for the invited audience.

The Jessup Lectures are a series of events where leaders in all aspects of the built environment will be invited to speak on topics such as urban design, architecture, planning, community, regeneration, build methods and sustainability, to bring a wider informed focus to the debate on future land use.
