The Rowans Birmingham - July 2011

We are delighted to have been appointed as main contractor by Adullam Homes for their development at the Rowans, Small Heath Birmingham.

The development of 25 new apartments to house vulnerable people has been made possible through collaborative working with Birmingham City Council and the government’s Homes and Communities Agency [HCA] who have invested £900,000.

The new apartments will provide supported accommodation in a scheme that features communal lounges and wide corridors to help the occupants, some of whom may have a disability, to circulate freely and fully utilize the accommodation and create a true community feeling within the development.

Architects S P Faizey have designed a modernist solution utilizing a variety of façade materials to complement the existing street scheme.

The £2.5m scheme will be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 and is due for completion in June 2012.
