New Appointments - July 2011

We are pleased to welcome new members to the Jessup Team:

QUANTITY SURVEYOR AT HEAD OFFICE

Quantity Surveyor Steve Owen has joined the Jessup team, bringing a wealth of experience from both the private housing and social housing sectors.

Steve previously worked for several of the major house building companies including Persimmon, Crest Nicholson and more recently Morris Homes. Steve is married and enjoys swimming, gardening and walking and lives locally in Cheslyn Hay.

He will be busy completing tender enquiries, development viability studies and land appraisals as well as looking after some of our more recent projects.

Nigel Higgs, Jessup Chief Quantity Surveyor welcomes Steve to the busy Jessup Surveying and Buying department.

NEW SITE MANAGER AT THE ROWANS

Dave Kinchin is the new site manager at our development at the Rowans Small Heath Birmingham. His task is to deliver the development of 25 apartments for Adullam Homes to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, with completion set for June of next year.

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER

We have appointed Joel Wood as an assistant graduate site manager at Phase 2, Waterfront South Walsall. This phase consists of 164 apartments due for completion in mid 2012.

NEW APPRENTICE

Continuing our encouragement of young people into apprenticeships we have appointed Adam Lloyd as an apprentice carpenter who will be learning his trade on site and with a day release at Technical College.

LOOKING AFTER ART ONE

Nigel Derry has settled into his new role as caretaker at Art One apartments at Waterfront South Walsall. Utilising his wide experience in the building industry, Nigel’s important task is to ensure that everything runs smoothly at our flagship development. The residents of the apartments value Nigel’s diligence in looking after all aspects of the day-to-day running of the apartments and external areas. This is an essential task in maintaining the quality of life and high standards of security and cleanliness at Art One.
