The Dell Business Parks

• County Councillor Robert Marshall cuts the ribbon to open The Dell Business Park with Derek Evans of Possum Investments and Phil Miles of Calibre Construction.

The official opening of The Dell Business Park at Four Ashes near Wolverhampton on Thursday 10th September 2009 by Staffordshire County Councillor Robert Marshall marks the culmination of ten years of successful development at Four Ashes by joint developers, Jessup Build Develop, Possum Investments and Calibre Construction.

The development partnership has completed six phases totaling some 300,000 sq ft and has attracted companies from Germany and the USA to locate at Four Ashes and found employment for over 1000 personnel.

The Dell, like all the phases, was built on regenerated land, part of which was disused gravel pits. The new development offers high quality units from 8,855 sq ft to 20,200 sq ft, with the largest unit already sold.

Councillor Robert Marshall, who is the Staffordshire County Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Infrastructure, congratulated the development partnership on bringing employment opportunities to Staffordshire and for continuing to bring more business to the area despite the effects of the recession. He stated that it was particularly satisfying to see such a quality development built on regenerated land. Guests at the opening were offered helicopter trips from the development to see its strategic location from the air, close to the M6 and M54 Motorways, major routes and the City of Wolverhampton.
